Pathway Jiu Jitsu

Based in Treforest, Pontypridd, Pathway Jiu Jitsu is a martial arts club teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in both Gi and NoGi formats. The club describes itself as beginner friendly, and newcomers can try their first class free of charge. It also runs a six week beginners course, held on Mondays, designed for people with no previous experience, which includes access to the regular classes for the duration of the course. Kids BJJ is offered too.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling art focused on control, positioning and submissions, usually practised through drilling techniques and live rolling with partners. It tends to suit people looking for a sociable way to get fit, build confidence and keep learning over the long term.
