Zen Combat Academy

Based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, Zen Combat Academy is a martial arts and personal training gym offering a wide mix of disciplines, including Jeet Kune Do, Krav Maga, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, boxing and self defence. Training is available in group classes or one-to-one, and the academy also runs children's classes, LGBTQ+ sessions and personal training. The club describes itself as open minded and welcoming to people of any age or background, and newcomers are invited to simply come along to a class.

Martial arts training in general can build fitness, confidence and practical skills, and a gym covering several styles lets beginners try different approaches before settling on one that suits them.
