Basketball players in Great Yarmouth and the wider East Norfolk area can find a home at Great Yarmouth Basketball Club (GYBC). The club runs bookable basketball sessions alongside junior teams, a men's side, an academy and holiday camps, so there are routes in for a range of ages and abilities. New players are welcomed, and sessions can be booked through the club's website.

A community basketball club is generally a good place to pick up the fundamentals, improve fitness and enjoy a team sport in a sociable setting. Clubs with junior and senior pathways often let players progress from casual sessions into competitive team basketball over time.
