Great Yarmouth Sport and Leisure Trust
About
Based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, this sports trust focuses on funding rather than running sessions itself. It offers grassroots grants across the Borough of Great Yarmouth to clubs, organisations and individuals, helping them buy equipment or invest in club and youth development. Past support has gone to local groups such as a martial arts club, an archery club and a football club.
The trust also backs leisure activities for people who might otherwise miss out, whether because of age, disability, illness, youth, poverty or wider social and economic circumstances. Local sports funding bodies like this can be a useful first stop for small community clubs looking to grow, replace kit or open up activity to more people.
