Welsh Contact Karate & Kickboxing Association Llandarcy

About

Based in Llandarcy near Neath, this branch of the Welsh Contact Karate & Kickboxing Association teaches karate and kickboxing to students of all ages. The association also runs clubs in Swansea and Ammanford, and its style, contact karate, is a freestyle form of kickboxing that grew out of traditional karate sparring. Newcomers can book two free trial classes, and a free suit is offered too.

Martial arts clubs like this one generally suit anyone looking to build fitness, coordination and confidence in a structured setting. Classes typically mix technique drills, pad work and conditioning, with a grading system that lets students track their progress at their own pace.
