Karate classes in Welwyn Garden City are on offer at Lea Valley Karate Academy, a martial arts club teaching across central Hertfordshire and Essex since 2004. The academy focuses on traditional Wado Ryu karate, covering everything from self-defence through to competitive sport, with weekly sessions open to people of all ages. It holds the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts and has worked closely with SPACE, a Hertfordshire charity supporting families affected by autism and ADHD.
