Based in Congleton, Cheshire Karate Academy is a martial arts club teaching traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu karate, a style centred on practical close-quarters self-defence. Classes cater for children, teenagers and adults, with dedicated beginner sessions for anyone new to karate and one-to-one coaching also available.

Karate training generally builds fitness, coordination, focus and confidence, and many people find a dojo becomes a sociable place to meet others.
