Caerphilly Kyokushinkai Karate Club

About

Based in Caerphilly, Caerphilly County Borough, this martial arts club practises Kyokushinkai karate, a style known for its emphasis on discipline, conditioning and full contact training. It offers local people a place to learn and train in one of the more physically demanding karate traditions.

Generally, visitors to a Kyokushinkai karate club can expect sessions built around basic techniques, kata (set patterns of movement) and partner work, alongside fitness and stretching. Many people take up karate to improve strength, flexibility and confidence, and a structured grading system usually gives students clear goals as they progress. Anyone interested is best advised to get in touch with the club directly to ask about joining.
