About
Rhino BJJ is a martial arts club based in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. As the name suggests, its focus is Brazilian jiu-jitsu, giving people in and around the town a local place to train on the mats.
Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a grappling art built around positions, control and submissions, and it is often described as a practical, problem-solving sport. Clubs of this kind generally welcome a mix of complete beginners and more experienced grapplers, and regular training can help build fitness, strength, flexibility and confidence. If you are thinking of starting, it is worth getting in touch with the club directly to ask about sessions and how to begin.
