Freestyle Martial Arts
About
Based in Baldock, Hertfordshire, Freestyle Martial Arts is a martial arts club teaching children and adults of all ages and abilities. Training draws on several styles, including Taekwondo, Karate, Kickboxing and Kung Fu, and the club welcomes complete beginners. Newcomers can try a free taster class, and a free uniform is offered too.
Martial arts training generally builds fitness, coordination, confidence and discipline, and mixed-style clubs give students a taste of both striking and traditional techniques. Classes for different age groups mean families can often train at the same club, with beginners usually starting on the fundamentals before progressing.
