Belfast Karate Academy

About

Based in Newtownabbey, Belfast Karate Academy is a martial arts club serving people in and around Antrim and Newtownabbey. As the name suggests, karate is at the heart of what the academy is about, and it has its own website where prospective members can find out more and get in touch.

Karate clubs generally offer a structured way to build fitness, coordination and confidence, with training that typically combines technique, conditioning and discipline. Many people take up a martial art to learn self-defence skills, set personal goals through grading, or simply enjoy regular exercise alongside others. If you are curious about starting, contacting the club directly is the best way to learn how sessions work.
