This martial arts club in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, teaches a practical style that links the structure of Japanese Karate with its older Chinese roots. Training focuses on violence prevention, realistic self-defence and overall health rather than competition, and classes run in small, committed groups. New members join by applying for an induction, and the club looks for people with an open, curious attitude.

Martial arts training in general can build coordination, confidence and fitness while teaching useful ways to stay safe. Clubs that prioritise self-defence over sport tend to suit people who want steady, focused practice instead of tournaments, belts as a goal, or casual drop-in sessions.
