Ford Judo Club

Judokai Romford

Practical self defence is the focus at this Wing Chun Kung Fu academy in Romford, Greater London. The club teaches within the Ip Man lineage, the style famously passed on to Bruce Lee, and runs separate classes for adults and juniors. Younger students follow a structured path towards black belt, with an anti-bullying programme that helps them handle difficult situations without getting into trouble at school.

Wing Chun is generally known as a close-range martial art built on efficient movement, balance and quick, direct techniques. Classes in this style tend to suit people looking for real-world self defence skills alongside improved fitness, coordination and focus, and newcomers can usually start without any previous experience.
