Based in Dalkeith, Midlothian, Randori Dojo is a martial arts club offering judo alongside an early years programme called Dojo Dragons. The younger children's sessions make use of the dojo's balance balls, climbing wall and assault courses, with classes structured so children can learn and develop in a safe setting. Judo students practise controlled throws and groundwork, with submissions introduced at senior level.

Judo is a good choice for anyone wanting a sport that builds strength, balance and confidence while teaching respect for training partners. Beginners generally start by learning how to fall safely before moving on to throws and hold-downs. Free trial lessons are available for those who want to try a class first.
