Based in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire, this kickboxing academy meets at Vale of Leven Baptist Church on Bridge Street. The club focuses on helping children build strength, confidence and discipline through martial arts, with classes aimed at a range of ages and abilities. A ladies only kickboxing session also runs on Mondays, and newcomers can book a free trial lesson.

Martial arts classes like these generally combine fitness work with self-defence skills, and many people find they improve coordination and focus alongside general conditioning. For children in particular, a structured class can be a good way to learn respect and self-control in a supportive setting.
