Based in Bootle, Merseyside, The Dance and Gymnastics Academy North Liverpool runs gymnastics and movement classes for children aged 2 to 12. Programmes are grouped by age, from Gym Twinkles for toddlers aged 2 to 3 through to Gym Totz, a playful introduction to gymnastics for 4 to 6 year olds, with the aim of building confidence, strength and coordination.

Classes like these are generally a good way for young children to stay active, develop balance and body awareness, and make friends in a structured setting. Parents looking for a dance or gymnastics activity in the North Liverpool area can book a trial class through the academy's website.
