WJJF

About

Based in Cookstown, Mid Ulster, WJJF is a martial arts club listed in our directory for people looking to train locally. The name refers to the World Ju-Jitsu Federation, an organisation associated with traditional ju-jitsu practice. The club does not have its own website, so the best way to find out about sessions and joining is to get in touch directly.

Martial arts training in general offers a mix of fitness, coordination and self-discipline, and many clubs welcome complete beginners as well as more experienced students. Visitors to a martial arts class can usually expect a warm-up, technique practice and partner drills, with progress often marked through a grading system over time.
