Water Adventure Centre (WAC)

Based in Manchester, the Water Adventure Centre (WAC) brings together youth work, kayaking and water play to support communities across Greater Manchester. Its focus is on children and young people who have the least, helping them build confidence, self-esteem and new skills through time spent on and around the water.

The centre runs a range of youth and play projects, including youth clubs and sessions for young women, and works with several locations across the wider area. Outdoor and water-based activities like these are a good way for young people to try something new, be active outdoors and develop practical skills in a supportive setting.
