Unity Taekwondo Academy
About
Based in Southampton, Unity Taekwondo Academy is a martial arts club teaching WT (World Taekwondo) style Taekwondo alongside self-defence skills. Classes are open to all ages and abilities, with a Southampton venue at Deer Park and a second location in Portsmouth. The academy was founded independently in 2025, and its instructors bring more than 35 years of Taekwondo practice to their teaching.
Taekwondo is generally known for its dynamic kicking techniques, and classes typically combine fitness, flexibility, discipline and structured progression through belt grades. Many people find it a good way to build confidence while training as part of a supportive group, and it can suit both children and adults starting from scratch.
