Titan Judo

About

Based at Spectrum House in Clydebank, Titan Judo is a martial arts club offering judo for a wide range of ages and abilities. Children can start from age four, and there are youth and senior classes, competitive development squads, women-only sessions and adaptive judo for children with disabilities. The club describes itself as family focused and encourages parents to follow their child's progress. It holds JudoScotland JudoMark accreditation and Gold status from West Dunbartonshire Leisure.

Judo is a grappling art built around throws, holds and controlled falling, and it is often valued for developing confidence, fitness, balance and discipline. Newcomers usually begin with the basics of breakfalls and simple techniques before progressing through a belt grading system.
