The Devils Lair
About
Korean kickboxing is the main focus at The Devils Lair, the full-time centre of the Devils Martial Arts group, based on an industrial estate near Oakdale in Caerphilly County Borough. The group runs kickboxing clubs across South Wales, and its instructors have all reached at least Welsh international team level and/or 1st degree black belt. Members have collected dozens of world titles across several associations.
The club makes a point of keeping classes running, with the assigned instructor taking charge and sessions going ahead all year, school holidays included. In general, a martial arts class like this offers a mix of fitness, technique and discipline, and kickboxing in particular builds striking skills, coordination and confidence.
