Boxing has deep roots at Sandygate ABC, a martial arts club in the heart of Burnley, Lancashire. Founded in 1967 at the Sandygate Youth Club, it is East Lancashire's oldest boxing club and has moved through several venues over the years before settling on Hargreaves Street in the town centre.
Run as a not for profit registered charity, the club welcomes people from all areas of Burnley regardless of background.
