Renascence
About
Based in Wimborne, Dorset, Renascence is a gymnastics club offering classes for children from toddler age upwards. Parent and tot sessions welcome little ones from 18 months, and from age three children move into independent pre-school classes that build balance, coordination and movement skills. School-age gymnasts can join evening and Saturday sessions, working through the club's own in-house award scheme, with an introduction to trampolining also available. The club also runs birthday parties and holiday courses.
Recreational gymnastics is generally a good way for children to build strength, flexibility and confidence in a supportive setting. Renascence describes itself as mainly recreational, though chances to take part in competitive events can come up.
