Pro-Star Gymnastics Academy
About
Based in Newtownards, Pro-Star Gymnastics Academy is a gymnastics club that aims to be open to everyone, welcoming athletes of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Its programmes range from relaxed recreational classes for those trying the sport for the first time through to more demanding training for gymnasts working towards competition.
Gymnastics is a good way to build strength, flexibility, balance and body awareness, and many people find it boosts confidence too. A typical session at a gymnastics club mixes warm-ups, skill work on floor and apparatus, and conditioning, with coaches helping each gymnast progress at their own pace.
