Based in Portsmouth, this martial arts club offers training in both mixed martial arts and traditional Japanese disciplines, including Ninjutsu. Sessions cover striking, throws, sweeps and takedowns, locks and strangles, along with escapes and evasions, all taught within a flowing movement system geared towards practical self defence. Dedicated kids classes are also available.

Martial arts training is a good way to build fitness, coordination and confidence, whether you are learning self defence or working towards a more structured practice. Newcomers can usually expect to start with the fundamentals before progressing at their own pace.
