Martial Arts World

About

Based in Chadwell St Mary, Thurrock, Martial Arts World is a martial arts academy offering classes for children and adults. Its approach draws on techniques from a range of systems, aiming to work both in competition and as practical self-defence. Alongside adult and children's classes, there are ladies only sessions, and the club describes itself as fully inclusive. The academy also has sites elsewhere in Essex, including Basildon, Grays and Rayleigh.

Martial arts training generally suits people with very different goals, whether that is competing, learning to protect yourself or simply trying something new. Classes typically build fitness, coordination and confidence, with an emphasis on discipline, respect and steady progress over time.
