Locksheath Gymnastics Club
About
Based in the Southampton area of Hampshire, Locksheath Gymnastics Club (also known as Locks Heath & Gosport Gymnastics Club) focuses on fundamental physical and movement learning for young children. Its Gymtots sessions offer imaginative physical activities for under 5s, while Gyminis provides fun recreational gymnastics for children aged 4 to 12. An awards scheme gives children something to show for their progress.
Recreational gymnastics is generally a great way for children to build coordination, balance, strength and confidence in a supportive setting. Families looking for an early introduction to physical activity will usually find that structured, coached sessions help youngsters develop basic movement skills while having fun and making friends.
