Based in Lisburn, this taekwondo club teaches the Korean martial art known as the art of hand and foot, practised today as a full contact Olympic sport. Sessions are open to people of all ages, genders and fitness levels, so newcomers are welcome alongside those with more experience.
A taekwondo class generally combines kicking and striking techniques, patterns and sparring, with coached sessions building fitness, coordination and confidence over time. Regular gradings give members a way to track their progress as they move through the belts.
