Lincolnhire Kofukan Karate
About
Traditional karate has a long home in Lincoln through Lincolnshire Kofukan Karate, one of the county's longer established clubs. Training in and around the city for more than 40 years, the club practises the Shito-Ryu style, one of the four recognised styles in Japan, with a focus on both tournament competition and self-defence. It is a member of Kofukan International and the English Karate Federation.
Adults and children are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced karate-ka. A martial arts club like this generally offers a structured way to build fitness, coordination and confidence while learning in a supportive group.
