Olympic style Taekwondo is the focus at KWON TKD, a martial arts club in Birmingham that has been running since 2006. The club is affiliated with the British Taekwondo Council, is recognised by World Taekwondo Headquarters and has worked with a number of universities across the UK. Training takes place in Ladywood, at Icknield Square, with sessions for both children and adults.

Girls, boys, women and men of all ages are welcome, and the club places real emphasis on teamwork and encouraging one another. Taekwondo in general is known for its dynamic kicking techniques, and regular training can help build flexibility, fitness, discipline and confidence, whether you are aiming for competition or simply want a sociable way to keep active.
