Kings Lynn Samurai Karate School
About
Shotokan karate is taught at this King's Lynn branch of the Samurai Karate School, a martial arts club established in 1999 that also runs classes in Wisbech. Sessions cater for children, adults and families, with traditional karate values of discipline, respect and confidence at the heart of training. Younger members aged 5 to 10 can join the Little Samurai programme to learn the basics.
Karate in general suits people looking to improve fitness, coordination and focus in a structured setting. Most clubs follow a belt grading system, so students can track their progress, and classes usually mix technique drills, kata (set forms) and partner work, with plenty of room for complete beginners.
