Based in Dundee, Kempo Kobudo Scotland is a martial arts school specialising in traditional Okinawan kobudō, a weapons-based discipline. Students train with a wide range of traditional weapons from day one, including the bō, sai, tonfa, nunchaku, katana, naginata and more, with no prior experience needed. Kempo karate is also taught, and both adults and children are welcome.
The school follows a full syllabus, with a structured path towards 1st dan black belt covering basic techniques, applied combinations and formal kata across the full range of weapons. A kobudō class is a good way to build coordination, focus and discipline while learning an authentic traditional art.
