About

Based in Renfrew, Renfrewshire, Japan Karate Academy is a martial arts club teaching karate to people in the local area. If you are looking for a place to train in a traditional Japanese striking art close to home, it is worth getting in touch to find out more.

Karate clubs generally focus on developing technique through basics, set forms (kata) and partner work, often with a grading system that marks progress through coloured belts. Training of this kind can help build fitness, coordination, discipline and confidence, and many clubs welcome a wide range of ages and abilities.
