Set in Holywood, Ards and North Down, Hooked Holywood is a boxing and fitness studio combining boxing, strength and conditioning under one coaching approach. Classes fall into three styles: Boxing for technique and timing in small groups, Burn for machine and interval conditioning, and Build for progressive strength work. The 3,000 sq. ft. studio also offers personal training, spinflex, a sauna and an ice bath.
New adult members begin with Rebuild, a 12-week structured programme covering strength, fitness and boxing basics, before choosing a membership tier. Boxing-based training in general is a good way to build fitness, coordination and confidence, and coached small groups tend to suit beginners who want clear guidance.
