Based in Cumbernauld, just outside Glasgow, Hellfish BJJ Scotland is a martial arts team teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA. The club was established in November 2016 and runs classes seven days a week, welcoming everyone from complete beginners to experienced competitors. Training covers both Gi and No-Gi, with live sparring and open mats also part of the programme.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling art focused on positional control, escapes and submissions, and it suits people of many ages and fitness levels. Newcomers to a BJJ gym can generally expect a technique-led session followed by drilling and, as confidence grows, live rolling with training partners.
