Farmhouse Shotokan Karate Club

About

Based in Newport, Staffordshire, Farmhouse Shotokan Karate Club is a martial arts club focused on the Shotokan style of karate. It offers local people a place to learn and practise this traditional Japanese discipline, and the club has its own website where you can find out more before getting in touch.

Shotokan is generally known for its strong stances, powerful linear techniques and emphasis on kata (set sequences of movements). Karate training in general can help build fitness, coordination, focus and confidence, and many clubs welcome people of different ages and experience levels, from complete beginners upwards.
