East London Gymnastic Club
About
Based in London, East London Gymnastic Club has offered a wide range of programmes, from pre-school gymnastics for three and four year olds to general gymnastics for ages 5 to 14 and an elite squad. Following the sale of its former centre, the club is temporarily running its children's general gymnastics sessions at Newham Leisure Centre while it looks for a new permanent home.
Gymnastics clubs like this are generally a good way for children to build strength, balance, flexibility and coordination in a supportive setting. Programmes are usually grouped by age and ability, so young gymnasts can progress at their own pace. It is worth checking the club's website for the latest updates on sessions during the move.
