About
Making music in London, the East London Community Band (ELCB) is a multi-generational organisation welcoming players of all ages, instruments and abilities. Whether you are picking up an instrument for the first time or have been playing your whole life, there is a place to join in. ELCB is a volunteer-run charity supported by fees, donations and grant funding.
The band runs a range of ensembles covering a wide variety of repertoire, from jazz to concert band pieces, giving members the chance to learn new skills and explore different genres. Community bands like this are a friendly way to keep playing regularly and perform alongside others.
