In the centre of Edinburgh, Dance For All combines two roles: a full-time college for students training towards a professional dance career, and a local dance school with classes for children, teenagers and adults. Younger beginners can start in ballet, acro and modern jazz, while adults can choose from ballet, tap and jazz at levels from beginner to advanced. Trial classes are offered, and the school also runs a summer school.

A dance school is generally a good place to build coordination, posture, strength and confidence, whatever your age or experience. Many people take up classes simply for enjoyment and fitness, while others use them as a stepping stone towards performing or further training.
