About

Based in the Clacton-on-Sea area of Essex, Clacton Ki Aikido Club is a martial arts club affiliated with the Ki Federation of Great Britain. Training takes place at the annexe behind St Osyth Village Hall, with a junior class followed by a general session for those aged 12 and over. Beginners are always welcome.

Ki Aikido focuses on coordinating mind and body through natural, flowing movement rather than strength. People who take up the art often look to become calmer under pressure, more relaxed and fitter, while building confidence along the way. As with most aikido clubs, newcomers can generally expect to learn falling, movement and basic techniques alongside more experienced students.
