This Shotokan karate club in Luton is part of Bukonkai Karate International, a wider association with clubs across the UK and in Malta. Despite the Dunstable name, its dojo is listed at Chalk Hills Academy on Leagrave High Street in Luton, and classes are led by a 2nd Dan instructor with competition experience in both Cuba and the UK.

Shotokan is one of the most widely practised karate styles, and training generally combines basic techniques, kata (set forms) and partner work.
